(Mock) Monday Night Raw - Week 6

Raw begins with Vince McMahon entering the ring. He first thanked the fans for watching history being made at Night of Champions and he also thanked the wrestlers for giving it all they got. But here was also there to make a couple announcements. First, as of today’s show, both Raw and Smackdown will now be a three hour show. Second, he has had a meeting with both general managers and has made the decision to give six of Season Two of NXT rookies’ contracts. Third, he has decided that despite the fact that Vicki is doing a great job, he has heard that she’s been favoring certain wrestlers. So with that in mind, he’s decided that Raw needs a co-general manager and she, along with everyone else, will find out who it is by the end of the night. Forth and final note as he leaves the ring, that he is going to bring be bringing back what has made them successful. A little more ‘Attitude’. The crowd goes wild as Michael Cole and The King can’t believe what they’ve just heard. All King could say was ‘Puppies are Back!’

Triple Threat Tag Team Match to determine the #1 Contender for the Tag Team Titles: Ryder & Hawkins vs. Barreta & Croft vs. The Usos

With Ryder and Hawkins already in the ring, Barreta and Croft was making their way down when all of the sudden, the Usos came from behind, knocking them down. The make their way into the ring to go after Ryder and Hawkins and the match begins. The match was quick and fast pace, but in the end we see Ryder, Hawkins, Barreta and Croft brawling outside of the ring. Jimmy Uso goes to the top ropes and Body Splashes them all. Jay Uso then grabs Croft, throws him back in the ring and does his Body Splash finisher for the pin. 1…2…3. The winners and new #1 contenders for the Tag Titles, The Usos. As they celebrated with Tamila, the Hart Dynasty looks on. In another room, the Colons look on from the back with DiBiase and Rhodes signaling them to come on as the four start to head to the ring.

Back from the break, DiBiase’s music hits as the new Intercontinental Champion heads to the ring with his entourage in suits. Dibiase then talks about how he and Cody didn’t get along at one point. But decided to be on the same page because they loved each other as brothers. He told the crowd how they were in a group called The Legacy with Randy Orton. But was run down due to Orton’s inability to be a leader. So DiBiase had announced that it’s time for a new Legacy and it’s in the form of himself as leader, Cody Rhodes, Carlito and Primo Colon. He breaks down how all their fathers paved the way and that how they are going to be far more successful than they have ever been. He says that by the end of the next pay per view that all of Legacy will be carrying gold. As for what they’ve done to Morrison, they said that he was simply at the wrong place, at wrong time and that if anyone was to get in their way will meet the same fate as well. Morrison’s song then hits as the crowd goes crazy. He tries to take out Dibiase, but was attacked by the rest of Legacy. After a little beat down, The Hart Dynasty then made their way into the ring to make it 3 on 4. Cody, was thrown out of the ring, when a fan wearing a hooded sweater came in and threw him back in. When he took off his hood, he revealed himself to be……Dustin Rhodes. The crowd goes crazy to see that Goldust is back to Dustin and he goes after his brother. The four finally ran Legacy out of the ring when Morrison took the mic and issued a rematch with DiBiase for the title at the next ppv, Hell in a Cell. DiBiase agrees as they walk away with Cody looking shocked at his brother’s return as his former self.

After the break, DiBiase is in the room complaining to Vicki about what had just happened and Vicki had said that she will handle it and that next week, it will be a handicap match between himself and Rhodes vs. John Morrison. Legacy then smiled, thanked Vicki and walked away. In the back, a limo arrives with a bunch of paparazzi surrounding it. Out of the limo comes ‘The A-Lister’ and European Champion, David Otunga. Josh Matthews then goes to interview him, but gets shunned away once again.

Kelly Kelly vs. Alicia Fox

The match never got under way as Beth Phoenix makes her way to the ring and decides to take a chair and knocks out both competitors. She grabs the mic and tells Natalia to come out. The Woman’s Champ then comes out. Beth tells her that she got lucky with winning the title and that she wants another shot at Hell in a Cell. Natalia accepts. Beth tries to sneak attack, Natalia catches her and applies the Sharpshooter on her. The refs came in to break the hold as Natalia walks away holding the title in the air.

We then see Chris Jericho make his way into the arena in his car and title, along with Wade Barrett. After the break, Jericho’s music hits as the champ makes his way to the ring with Barrett as they have bandages on their face from what Orton had done to them last night. He said that he should have celebrated, but was ruined with what Orton had done and vowed to do something about it. He said that he’s gonna make sure that Orton doesn’t receive a title shot as long as he’s champion. Vicki then comes out to ‘Excuse Me!’ once again and had told Jericho that not only does he have the night off, but that she had suspended Orton for one week without pay and in addition, next week he has to come out and publicly apologize for what he had done. She also mentions that tonight’s main event will be a #1 contender’s match for Jericho’s title between John Cena vs. Jack Swagger.

The A-Lister: David Otunga is shown in the back making his way to the ring. As he’s walking down the ramp, he signals for the paparazzi to head to the back and wait for him there as he goes to sit down with Cole and The King for the next match.

R-Truth vs. Dolph Ziggler

As the match begins, both wrestlers were distracted at Otunga who was outside but continued to wrestle. Each men did their thing exchanging moves from one another. In the end as Ziggler was going for the Sleeper, Truth ran from it and had given him The Lie Detector finisher and pinned. 1…2…3. The winner….R-Truth. Then out of nowhere, William Regal came out as was about to apply the Regal Stretch on Truth but was reversed and the two began to brawl outside the ring. Otunga then laughed and said that those two wasn’t worth getting a title shot from him. Then Ziggler came up from behind Otunga as he was leaving the table and applied the Sleeper on Otunga as Ziggler signaled his paparazzi to come down and take pictures of Otunga sleeping. Ziggler then takes the European title and tells them to take pictures of him instead.

After the break, The Miz comes out furious and demands that Daniel Bryan to come out right now. Bryan then comes out and Miz issues a challenge to him for next week. After some back and forth talking, Bryan finally accepts. As Bryan leaves the ring, Miz attacks him, then takes him out, throws him on top of the announce table and does the Skull Crushing Finale finisher on him, breaking the table. With the crowd shouting ‘Holy Sh*t!’

Cole and The King then announces a bikini contest next week on Raw. The first in years as the King gets excited as to who the competitors are. It will be The Bella Twins, Tiffany, Kelly Kelly, Alicia Fox and Melina. Then Cole announces the new wrestlers who have been secretly drafted by McMahon and the general managers will be on hand next week and will not tell the crowd who they are and that they will have to wait till next week.

Matthews is in the back right now with John Cena who is excited about the next match and vows to take down Swagger and then go after the World title once again. Matthews then ask Cena if he’s worried about who the new co-GM will be. Cena says that as long as they are on the same page, it doesn’t matter who it is. So now it’s time for the main event.

Main Event: #1 Contenders Match for the World Title: John Cena vs. Jack Swagger

Jack Swagger makes his way to the ring with all grins and too many boos. Cena then comes out to a mixed crowd of cheers and boos. As the bell ring, the two then engage in combat. For 15 minutes they have been battling it out with Swagger attempting to do his finisher. The crowd looks to be really into the match with Cena reversing it to the STF submission. Without the ref looking, Swagger grabs a pair of brass knuckles and knocks out Cena. He then goes for his finisher and connects. 1…2…3. The winner and new #1 Contender….Jack Swagger! As he celebrates, a familiar sound then occurs. The glass breaks and it’s the new co-GM……Stone Cold Steve Austin!! Austin comes in the ring to throw middle fingers to each corner as the crowd goes wild. Swagger then extends his hand welcome Austin. All Austin did was stare at him, gave him two middle fingers, kicked up and Stone Cold Stunner knocking Swagger out. Austin then ended the night with some beers. Even pouring some on top of Swagger to end the show.

(Mock) Night of Champions 2010

Night of Champions 2010 begins with showing highlights of the tournaments that went down on both Raw and Smackdown. With the fireworks beginning to explode signaling the beginning of the pay per view. Michael Cole is with both King and Smackdown color commentator Matt Striker. All of the sudden, Vince McMahon music hits and he comes down to the ring with both Teddy Long and Vicki. He then congratulates them both on the fine job handling the tournament and other things. So he then tells them that come next week, he has a special bonus for the both of them and announces to the crowd that due to every title being on the line tonight that tonight’s show will be 4 hours. So the night will begin with the European Title match.

Tournament Final for the European Title: David Otunga vs. R-Truth

As the match begins, Otunga extends his hands to Truth (who seems to look much better after a week off), but sucker punches him. The match was going back and forth, but the experience of Truth was too much for Otunga. After his scissor kick, Truth was about to go for the Lie Detector finisher when all of the sudden, William Regal comes running down the ramp. Truth sees him and leaps out of the ring and onto him. With Otunga distracting the ref, Regal quickly took out his brass knuckles and while Truth was in the air, knocked him unconscious. Seeing the opportunity, Otunga ran out, grabbed Truth, and made the pin. 1…2…3. The winner and new European Champion….David Otunga!! He then signals the paparazzi to come down and take pictures of him and his new title.

Backstage, we find Santino interviewing the Straight Edge Society. C.M.Punk then talks about how later on tonight how he and Luke Gallows was going to take care of MVP and Mark Henry and win the Smackdown Tag Titles and how Selina was going to win the Diva’s Title tonight as well. They then run into The Colons as they gave each other a stare down wishing each other luck on winning their matches and titles tonight.

Tournament Final for the Woman’s Title: Beth Phoenix vs. Natalia

As the bell sounded, they each gave each other a test of strength to which none of them fell down to it. The crowd was getting into it as they knew that this match was more of a brawl than anything. Beth tried to make peace with Natalia, but faked it with a kick to the stomach. During the match, she had exchanged a few wrestling moves, but Natalia had a few of her own, including a few submission moves. This was more wrestling than a cat fight. Near the end of the match, Beth was frustrated after a couple of near fall pins, including the last one where we saw her applying her finishing move to Natalia. So she went and grabbed the Woman’s Title. The ref was trying to stop her from doing something but Beth had paused for a second and realized that she didn’t want to win that way, so she dropped the title and went to pick up Natalia. But she played possum and rolled Beth up in a small package. 1…2…3. The winner and new Woman’s Champion….Natalia!! As she began to cry, Beth grabbed the belt and presented it to her while raising her hand. The rest of the Hart Dynasty then ran in to help celebrate with Natalia.

The cameras now take us to the back entrance where Cody Rhodes was entering. He then bumps into Ted Dibiase. He tells him that if he wins tonight’s match for the Intercontinental Title that he’s going first dibs at it. All Ted did was smile and walk away. Josh Matthews then rushes over to him and asks him why was he here since he wasn’t even a part of Night of Champions. Cody then tells him that he’ll soon find out later tonight.

Tournament Final: United States Title: Matt Hardy vs. Drew McIntyre

As the bell sounds, both competitors are going at toe to toe with Matt getting the upper hand. But with a rake to the eye, Drew took over completely. After five minutes of moves and two near pin falls, he goes for the sleeper hold. Matt tries his best to reach for the ropes and makes it. Drew argues with the ref, saying that he tapped out. During that time, Matt finally recovers and lays a bunch of moves on him. He went for the Twist of Fate and connects. 1…2…Drew kicks out. Shocked, Matt went for it again, but gets low blowed by Drew without the ref seeing it. Drew then connects with his finisher. 1…2…Matt puts his foot on the ropes. The ref sees it and stops the count. Drew gets frustrated once again and argues with the ref. Matt sees that and tries to go for the Twist of Fate again and connects. 1…2…3. Winner and new United States Champion…Matt Hardy!! Frustrated and upset, Drew argues with the ref some more as Matt laughs his way to the back with his new belt. Another ref comes in to argue with Drew as he lays him out and walks away.

Tournament Final for the Smackdown Tag Team Titles: Luke Gallows and CM Punk vs. MVP and Mark Henry

As each team is in the ring, the bell sounds as MVP and Punk start off the match. Punk plays with MVP by jumping out of the ring everytime he came near him. After a third time, Mark sneaked behind him and threw Punk back in. Gallows saw that, ran over and gave Mark a Big Boot to the face. As MVP was dominate, he then tagged an very upset Mark. Punk quickly ran and tagged Gallows. The crowd was on their feet as they wanted to see these two giants go at it. They give each other shoves and shoulder tackles, but none budged. Then Mark finally gave him a running clothes line. Fast forward to the end of the match, we see Mark and Gallows fighting outside the ring. The ref went out to stop it. Without anyone seeing him, Punk ran to get his black bag. MVP grabbed him, but was knocked out cold with the bag. Punk then took MVP and knocked him out even more with his GTS finisher and went for the pin. The ref saw it and ran in. Mark tried to interfere, but Gallows grabbed his leg, preventing that. 1…2…3. The winner and new Smackdown Tag Team Champions!!.......Luke Gallows and CM Punk. They quickly took the belts and walked up the ramp to celebrate their victory while Mark went to check on MVP.

They then began to show highlights of the Cruiserweight tournament and with what had happened on the Peep Show along with the match between Slater and Bourne.

Tournament Final for the Cruiserweight Title: Evan Bourne vs. Justin Gabriel

As both men head to the ring, Gabriel is being escorted by Heath Slater while Bourne is with Rey Mysterio. As the bell rang, you already saw the quickness of each competitor. As the crowd was in awe with every fast paced move. Then Slater tried to get involved and Rey prevented that. The ref saw that and ejected both of them. Now it’s one on one as Gabriel took advantage of a weakened Bourne with some aerial moves and near pin falls. Frustrated, he applies a sleeper on Bourne. As he was about to be out of it, he had kicked his way out of it and took care of Gabriel with a few aerial moves as well. A lot of ‘Holy S**t’ chants from the crowd with each move. But Gabriel took advantage from a missed move from Bourne to climb up to do his 450 Splash but missed it. Bourne gets up, goes for the Air Bourne and pins. 1…2…3. The winner and new Cruiserweight Champion…Evan Bourne. Bourne is excited as he clutches the belt in his hands for his first title ever. Gabriel then extends his hands for sportsmanship. Instead kicks Bourne and gives him a DDT. Then goes up and connects with a 450 Splash before walking away to a roar of boos from the fans.

In the back, we see David Otunga about to jump into his limo with a bunch of paparazzi surrounding him. Matthews goes to interview him, but Otunga snubs him saying that he has parties to go to tonight to help celebrate his title win and that he wasn’t invited because he wasn’t an A-Lister.

Now we get highlights from the Raw Tag Team Title tournament which leads to the next match.

Tournament Final for the Raw Tag Team Titles: The Colons vs. The Hart Dynasty

As they head into the ring, all of the sudden Cody Rhodes decides to show up for moral support for the Colons since Natalia is there with the Harts. So the match is on the way and Primo is in against Teddy. They each exchange quick moves until they each tag in both Carlito and David Hart Smith. Then David overpowers Carlito, Gorilla Presses him and out of the ring. Primo goes to see if he’s alright but is met with Teddy’s Flying Body Splash. As they are back in the ring, the powers switch to the Colons as Carlito and Primo begin a couple of double team moves on David. Fast forward to the end of the match as Carlito was preparing for Backcracker finisher, David pushes him and sets him up for The Hart Attack, which Teddy comes in to help do and they connect. Teddy does a Suicide Dive onto Primo as David pins Carlito. 1…2…3. The winner and new Raw Tag Team Champions….The Hart Dynasty!! Before they can even celebrate, Cody comes in with a chair and lays them both out with it. Primo, Carlito and Cody then took turns doing their finishers on them before Natalia used her body to shield them. The Colons and Cody then walk away to the back, looking satisfied.

Santino is in the back right now with Sheamus and ask him if he was afraid of the Undertaker. Sheamus then begins to make fun of Santino and talks about how he’s not afraid and is going to send a quick message out to the Undertaker. He then walks away and then gives Santino a Bicycle Kick as a statement.

Tournament Final for the Diva’s Title: Serena vs. Gail Kim

The Straight Edge Society is noticeably absent as Serena heads to the ring by herself, followed by Gail Kim. But Serena quickly stops on Kim the second she enters the ring as the bell sounds. Serena is working on Kim aggressively as she gives her a fury of punches and moves. She almost got disqualified by choking Kim. She then moves back and tries to go for her finisher. Kim reverses it and goes for the pin. 1…2…Serena kicks out as Kim is finally gaining the momentum and is finally unveiling some of her moves as well. She then goes to the top rope to finish Serena off with a Flying Body Press. She connects, but Serena reverses it and pins while holding her tights with the ref not seeing it. 1…2…3. The winner and new Diva’s Champion…..Serena! The rest of the SES came in to help celebrate her victory as all of the SES has titles.

Ted Dibiase is shown leaving Vicki’s office with a huge smile on his face. John Cena walks by, looks at him and doesn’t want to know what just happened. He then storms into room and tells Vicki that he should be the number one contender for the World Title after tonight. Vicki reminds him that she’s the boss and that what she says goes. But she did tell him that she wants him to be at Raw on Monday because she has an announcement to make involving the World Title and then tells him to leave her office.

Tournament Final for the Intercontinental Title: John Morrison vs. Ted DiBiase

The crowd goes crazy for Morrison as DiBiase comes in to boos. The match starts as Ted takes his time. Making Morrison chase him outside the ring. Only to be tricked with a clothes line. Ted then throws Morrison back in the ring and begins to work on him. After a few minutes of doing that, he goes to the top ropes for a move, but Morrison moves. Making Ted hit the mat. Morrison the hits some moves on him and a few pins. This looks like a very technical match as the crowd is into it. In the end, Morrison tries to go for the Starship Pain finisher, but misses. Giving Ted the chance to do the Dream Street finisher and connects. He goes for the pin. 1…2…3. The winner and new Intercontinental Champion…..Ted DiBiase! As he was celebrating, Cody Rhodes and the Colons ran into the ring to corner Ted. He had nowhere to go as he was about to fight three against himself. As Morrison got up, he was met with a Double Clothesline from the Colons. Ted then began to laugh and signaled the three to attack Morrison as they all did. They each did their finishing move before Ted went to do the Dream Street once more. More refs came to check on Morrison as the four left the ring. They stood on top of the ramp with their arms held up high in victory. What does this mean and what’s going to happen in Raw?

We go right to the highlights for the Smackdown World Heavyweight Title tournament.

Tournament Final for the Smackdown World Heavyweight Title: Shaemus vs. The Undertaker

As Sheamus comes in, he awaits for ‘The Deadman’ who is slowly making his way to the ring. As the ref holds up the title, Sheamus grabs it and puts it to ‘Taker’s face. He then grabs Sheamus by the throat, but Sheamus kicks him as the match starts. Sheamus goes to ram him to the corner, but ‘Taker reverses it and does some of his mixed fighting moves on him. Taken too much out of him, Sheamus jumps out of the ring and ‘Taker is right after him. But he’s rammed into the ring post. Sheamus then throws him in the ring to take care of him some more. As the match progresses later, we see ‘Taker ducking a Bicycle Kick and then goes for a Chokeslam. Sheamus kicks off and connects with the Bicycle Kick. He then goes for the Celtic Cross, connects and goes for the pin. 1…2…’Taker kicks out. Sheamus looks shocked and tries to go for it again, but this time ‘Taker grabs him and goes Tombstone. Then the lights goes out. When they come back on, not only is the ref and Sheamus knocked out, but The Big Show is in the ring, giving ‘Taker the Tombstone and then walks out. Sheamus then struggles to go pin ‘Taker and the ref finally wakes up to make the count. 1…2…3. The winner and new World Heavyweight Champion……Sheamus. He struggles to the title while ‘Taker is still out from what the Big Show had done.

We now go to highlights from the Raw World Title tournament that has been going on these past few weeks with the final match of the night coming up.

Tournament Final for the Raw World Title: Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring with the biggest ovation while Jericho enters to the biggest boos. The match begins with Jericho taunting Orton. Orton immediately goes after him with a fury of punches. He tries for an early RKO, but Jericho escapes. But doesn’t go too far as Orton grabs him and throws him back in to Drop Kick and a couple of suplexes. Jericho later on slows him down with a few submission moves. Late in the match, Jericho connects with the Walls of Jericho. Orton tries to reach for the ropes but Jericho pulls him back to the middle of the ring. After a few minutes, Orton finally breaks the hold. As Jericho tries for the Lionsault, he gets hit with Orton’s knees and both men are on the floor. When they both get up, Orton backs him up and throws him to the corner, but Jericho reverses it and Orton runs into the ref, knocking him down. Jericho then signals Wade Barrett to come in. Then the double teaming begins. Orton fights off Barrett and gives him the RKO, while Jericho takes the belt, knocks Orton in the back and goes for the Code Breaker. The ref wakes up to see Jericho pinning Orton and goes for the count. 1…2…3. The winner and new World Champion…..Chris Jericho! As they celebrate, Orton slowly slides out of the ring to grab a chair. Fast forward to the end of the match, as Gabriel tried to interfere, Bourne rammed Slater into Gabriel, knocking him to the floor. Bourne then threw Slater out as well. Main Event Tag Match: The Undertaker and Rey Mysterio vs. Sheamus and Edge

Sheamus and Edge both enter the ring to their respective music. As Rey was entering, he stood out until The Undertaker’s music hit. Then as the Deadman came to the ring, Rey went in as well. ‘Taker started the match with Edge. Edge tried an early spear, but missed and ‘Taker took advantage. Unloading moves, including his ‘Old School’. But one thumb to the eye and a clothesline later, ‘Taker was down and in comes Sheamus. He begins to overpower him with a bunch of slams and suplexes. But that wasn’t enough to put down ‘Taker for he had gotten up. Edge comes in again, but was dealt with a Chokeslam. Both men are down. As Edge went and tagged Sheamus, ‘Taker went and tagged Rey as the crowd went wild. Sheamus tried to go after him but Rey was too fast for him. Even to the point where he did the 619 on him. As he went for the West Coast Pop, Edge had come in and gave him a Spear. ‘Taker then took Edge and gave him the Last Ride. Sheamus then gave ‘Taker the Bicycle Kick and he went down. As he went to pin him, ‘Taker had grabbed him and gave him the Chokeslam and pinned him. 1…2…3. The winners are Rey Mysterio and The Undertaker. Could this be a preview for Summerslam where ‘Taker could once again become the World Heavyweight Champion. We’ll find out this Sunday at Summerslam.

(Mock) Monday Night Raw - Week 5

Raw kicks off with General Manager Vicki coming down to the ring. Again with every ‘Excuse Me!’ she says, the louder the boos. She then addresses to the crowd about last week and the says that she has given Chris Jericho the night off so he can prepare for his match this coming Sunday at SummerSlam. But she has other plans for Randy Orton and since he’s ‘RKO-Happy’ that she was pitting him in a match against Wade Barrett tonight. Orton then comes out to a loud cheer. He then gets into Vicki’s face and told her that no one, not even her was going to get in his way from getting his title. A ref then comes into the ring and preparing for the next match. As Vicki was getting out of the ring, Orton turned her around, made like he was going to RKO her, but instead tricked her out and RKO’d the ref instead. The crowd went wild as she started screaming her way to the back.

After the break, Vicki was seen in her office shaking. Ted DiDiase then came in and asked Vicki if she was alright. When she told him about what Orton almost did, he became fumed but then told her that even Orton would RKO a woman like her because he would know the consequences. That alone made Vicki feel much better.

Ryder & Hawkins vs. Archer & Croft (#1 Contenders Match for the Raw Tag Titles)

As the two teams began to enter the ring, Carlito and Primo then popped up on the screen and told the two teams that whoever wins will have to face them. Then The Hart Dynasty pops up on a split screen and tells them the same. Ryder & Hawkins was then ambushed by Archer & Croft. The two teams did their share of some high flying moves and near pinfalls that the crowd was really getting into. At the end of the match, we see Archer & Croft outside of the ring with Ryder slingshot Hawkins out the ring and onto the other two. As Ryder was in the ring, he was then attacked by these two new wrestlers with a female wrestlers. Hawkins, Archer and Croft came in but were attacked and beaten as well. As they were laid out on the mat, the three wrestlers then went to the top ropes and did a body splash on Hawkins, Archer and Croft. One of them then took the mic and introduced themselves as The Usos. Consisted of Jimmy, Jay and Tamila (sons of Rikishi and daughter of ‘Superfly’ Jimmy Snuka). They then made a statement to all tag teams that they are gunning for the tag titles real soon and that no one is safe. The match ends as a no-contest with The Usos leaving the ring.

Back in the locker room, Josh Matthews goes to interview The Colons and asked what were their thoughts on The Usos statement. They both gave their answer frustrated and in Spanish as they leave to head to the ring for the next match.

Primo Colon vs. Tyson Kidd

As they both enter the ring, so did The Hart Dynasty in whole. The sounds with both high flyers going at it. The action is fast pace as the ref tries to focus on both the match and the distracting outside as well. During the match, Carlito tries to interfere, but pays for it with a running clothesline from David Hart Smith. At the end of the match as Tyson was going to his flying clothesline, Carlito pushed his foot off the top, knocking Tyson to the floor. As the ref was arguing with Carlito, Smith ran in, did his running power slam on Primo, threw Kidd on him and ran out. The ref saw it and counted 1…2…3. The winner is Tyson Kidd. They quickly got out and walked away with Carlito getting frustrated.

They now show a video footage of how Miz and Morrison used to be the tag champs, did The Dirt Sheet and how they became enemies, with the match tonight being the swan song to their feud.

Round Two of the Intercontinental Title: John Morrison vs. The Miz

As they were in the ring, they were sizing each other down. Then the bell rung as the two began to brawl. All the frustration leading up to this match up, with the addition frustration being that the winner will go onto the final so they each had to give it their all in which they did. Near the end of the match, The Miz had put Morrison in the sleeper hold. Morrison then backed Miz up to the turnbuckle, but then knocked the ref in the ring as well. The Miz then did his ‘Skull Crushing Finale’ finisher on him and made the pin. The ref was still out of it. Then The Masked Superstar came into the ring with a chair. The Miz then order The Masked One to bash Morrison in the head so he can win, but instead turned around and bashed Miz insead. He then took off his mask to reveal himself as Daniel Bryan, his old NXT rookie. With that said, Morrison went for the Starship Pain. The ref finally came to and went back in to count 1…2…3. The winner and advancing to the final, John Morrison. As Morrison left, Bryan came back in to give a bloodied Miz two more chair shots before he left. Leaving Miz knocked out cold in the ring.

Back from the break, they show a re-cap of what just happened in the ring with Bryan and Miz. Matthews then interviews Bryan and asks him why did he help him before only to turn on him. Bryan told him that it was all planned, to get into his mind thinking that he was going to be his lil’ helper. But now he tells him that The Miz is in for a rude awakening. Matthews then gets pulled over by David Otunga, who was upset about not getting interview not once for his win to the finals weeks ago and tells him that he is an A-Lister and needs to get more attention and that if he and others doesn’t get it that once he wins the European title on Sunday that everyone else will get it.

In the ring we find Jack Swagger just taunting the fans of how much of a great American he is and how he would lay his life on the line for this country and then goes to bad mouth Cena some more. Cena then pops up on the screen and tells everyone that he’s shooting a movie and that he wasn’t there tonight and told Swagger that if he is such an American to put his money where his mouth is and fight him next week. Swagger then tells him to forget it and that Cena was a waste of his time. Cena then tells him that he is a joke and a phony. Swagger then gets irate and agrees to the match.

Round Two of the Woman’s Title: Melina vs. Natalia

Michael Cole and The King plugs in on how this will probably one of the best woman’s matches they are going to see and the two women didn’t disappoint as the bell rang. They gave the fans what they wanted, a great woman’s match that hasn’t been seen in years as the two went at it back and forth. In the end, it was Natalia who applied the Sharpshooter and Melina couldn’t help but to submit. The winner and going to the final on Sunday to face Beth Phoenix is Natalia.

Jericho is in the back giving Barrett a pep talk before his match with Orton tonight. Orton is now shown coming towards the ring for his introduction.

The Main Event: Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett

As the two enter the ring, Jericho comes down as well to sit with Cole and King to commentate. The match begins with both men going toe to toe. Barrett has the slight edge and does a couple of moves that Jericho claims he had taught him. Barrett is looking good minutes into the match but Orton comes back with his own moves. At the end when Barrett was going to do his move, Orton revered it and hit the RKO on Barrett. 1…2…Jericho then pulls the ref out of the ring. Orton sees it and chases Jericho out of the ring. He then turns his attention to Barrett. He runs back and clotheslines Barrett out of the ring. He then throws him onto the announcing table. Jericho looks on as he sees Orton giving Barrett the RKO on top of the table. The match is now a no-contest. Orton gets into the ring and celebrates as he stares down Jericho ending the last Raw before SummerSlam.

(Mock) Friday Night Smackdown - Week 4

Smackdown begins with a brawl, literally as the cameras switch to backstage where Shad and JTG are going at it. Chairs are thrown, garbage cans are thrown. Anything they can get their hands on. Refs and other wrestlers are trying to get the two apart but they just break away from everyone to go at each other again.

Round One of the United States Title: JTG vs. Findlay

Findlay is already in the ring when all of the sudden Teddy Long makes his way to the ring. He apologizes to the crowd for what had just gone down and sadly announces that there will be no Round One match. So out of forfeit, Findlay wins the match. Findlay is excited as he dances around the ring.

Round One of the Diva’s Title: Layla vs. Maryse

Teddy decides to stick around for this match up as he is more interested in seeing Layla up close and personal. Layla blows a kiss at Teddy but was attacked by Maryse. Layla tries her best to upstage her but Maryse hits her Big Kick finisher to pin Layla and move on to Round Two next week. As Maryse leaves, Teddy rushes into the ring to see if Layla was alright. He then gives her the special treatment as he had a ref bring a wheelchair out for her to roll her to the back.

Backstage, Smackdown has a new announcer and it’s….Santino. He shows off his new shirt which says in the front ‘Smackdown’s #2 Draft Pick’ and now on the back ‘And #1 Announcer’. He then interviews Rey Mysterio, who was said to be fighting Sheamus (which Santino called him Meeker from The Muppets instead). Rey talks briefly about his match tonight and then goes into how well his training with Evan Bourne is going and wishes him luck on his interview tonight on the returning ‘Peep Show’ with Christian.

Round Two for the United States Title: Kofi Kingston vs. Drew McIntyre

Round One is now over as Round Two finally begins with Kofi entering the ring. Drew then enters as well to start the match. The crowd is amazed at how well these two perform together putting up the best that they can to make it to the next round. In the end, as Kofi missed the Trouble in Paradise, Drew hits his finisher for the win as he advances to the finals in a very hard fought clean match.

In the back, the Straight Edge Society is in the back as CM Punk prepares for his match coming up next.

M.V.P. vs. C.M. Punk

As both men are in the ring, the ref signaled for the rest of the SES to leave the ring. CM Punk then argued with the ref, giving MVP enough time to go after him with some of his moves. After ten minutes of back and forth, near pin falls action, MVP finally sets Punk for the Playmaker finisher, but was distracted by a returning Luke Gallows. As the ref turns his attention to Gallows, Punk goes for the GTS. But is reverse and MVP connects with the Playmaker. 1…2…3. The winner is MVP, but Gallows enters the ring and attacks him. This brings out MVP’s partner, Mark Henry and the two chased out the SES.

Teddy Long is in the back checking on Layla to see if she was alright. She was so happy that she had even given Teddy a kiss on the cheek and whispered something into his ear which made him do a dance.

Round Two of the Diva’s Title: Eve vs. Serena

The announcer then says that if any of the SES even steps foot out here that Serena will automatically lose the bout. So as the bell rang, Serena goes wild on Eve. But Eve takes care of the loose cannon by applying a few submission moves. But as she was about to pull off her finisher, Serena quickly reverses it and gives her the GTS finisher. 1…2…3. The winner and advancing to the finals is Serena. So the SES are one for one tonight.

Christian is in the back letting the backstage crew know that the Peep Show was returning tonight. He then bumps into Edge. He wishes Christian good luck on being the number two talk show on Smackdown. Christian just laughs it off and walks away.

After the break, we now find Christian in the ring greeting the fans and thanking them for being a part of the retuning Peep Show. He brings out his guest which is none other than…Evan Bourne. Christian hypes the match between him and Justin Gabriel the 180 vs Air-Bourne and how this would probably be one of the best matches to watch at SummerSlam. He asks him how excited it was for him to have Rey Mysterio as a mentor. Before Evan could answer that, two uninvited guest makes their way into the ring. Justin Gabriel and Heath Slater. Heath approached him and told him that Justin doesn’t need a mentor to train him because he can do it all by himself. Justin told him how back where he lived at overseas that he was trained by the best, has beaten the best and that at SummerSlam it won’t be no different. Heath then hypes up Justin again. Bourne then tells Heath if he’s talking all this trash, then why not have a match with him next week as a warm up. Heath accepts as the two walk away, leaving Christian shaking hands with Evan.

During the break, we see Heath and Justin bumping into Rey Mysterio. They back off from him immediately as Rey makes his way towards to entrance as his music hit.

Main Event: Rey Mysterio vs. Sheamus

He comes out to the loudest pop of the night as Sheamus comes out to the loudest boos of the night. As the bell sounds, Sheamus immediately goes after Rey but Rey is too fast for him as he does a couple of hit-and-runs. Sheamus finally catches him with a clothesline. Throughout the match, Sheamus is dominate up until Rey gets a second wind and finally takes it to Sheamus. He hits the 619 and tries for the West Coast Pop finisher but Sheamus catches him with the bicycle kick. As he goes for the Celtic Cross finisher, the lights go out. When they come back on, Edge is in the ring and he goes for the Spear. He tries to go to Sheamus but instead connects it with Rey. The lights go out again and when they come back on, the Undertaker is in the ring as he takes both Sheamus and Edge and Choke Slam. Afterwards, Teddy Long comes out and announces to the crowd and to the wrestlers that due to the exciting ending, Smackdown is going to have an exciting main event next week. It will be Edge teaming up with Sheamus vs. Rey Mysterio and The Undertaker. The crowd goes crazy as the show ends with all four superstars staring at each other.

So now Jericho invites his new security for his show….Wade Barrett. Barrett comes out in a suit and stands by Jericho. He tells the booing crowd to respect their future world champion. Jericho then announces his guest for the evening, Jack Swagger. Swagger comes out and greets Jericho as if they had been friends for years. He tells him that despite not making it out of the first round that he would rather have Jericho as champion than Cena. He then tells the crowd that if you want to respect and cheer for a true American, to respect him. They boo him some more. Finally, Cena enters the fray and into the ring. He talks about how he was screwed and that a true American will admit that they are nothing but a con. Furious, Swagger sucker punches Cena and the two go at it. Jericho then joins in along with Barrett. Outnumbered three to one, Cena is floored. But help is on the way to ring in the form of…The Great Khali. He then clears house until General Manager Vicki pops up on the screen with her not-so-famous ‘Excuse Me!’ She then makes a main event match between Swagger, Jericho and Barrett against Cena and Khali. If Cena can’t find a partner, then it will be a handicap match. The three heels leave the ring laughing as Khali helps Cena up.

Round One of the Intercontinental Title: The Miz vs. Chris Masters

After the break, we see Chris Masters already in the ring getting ready for his match. The Miz final comes out with a mic telling the crowd how he is almost definite ‘SummerSlam’ bound for the I.C. Title. As he got in the ring, Masters began to overpower Miz right away. Miz gets some moves in, but Masters is much stronger. Near the end of the match, Masters accidentally knocks out the ref. Not realizing it, he still goes to apply the Master Lock onto The Miz. He looks like he’s already tapping out but out of nowhere, The Masked Superstar comes into the ring with a chair, knocks Masters to the ground and runs back out before the ref saw him. So Miz took the advantage and did his ‘Skull Crushing Finale’ finisher on Masters. 1…2…3. The winner is The Miz as he advances to the second round. The Miz looks confused as to what had happened.

Back in the General Manager’s office, we find DiBiase bursting into the office asking Vicki why he has to start his round two match after his match last week when Ziggler had the week off. She told him that he was ‘That Damn Good’. DiBiase took into that with a smile and walked away.

After a few minutes, Melina finally began to overpower her with some moves of her own. At the end, Melina finishes her off with her version of the ‘Maple Leaf Slam’ and pins her. Melina wins and goes adnvances to round two.

Dolph Ziggler is in the back with Josh Matthews being interview. He tells him that despite the respect that he has for DiBiase, he will come out on top in their match next because of his week off so he’s more fresh. Despite the two being heels, the crowd are on their feet as they see a great match going on with at the end we see Dibiase applying the ‘Dream Street’ and pins. 1…2…3. Dibiase wins and moves onto the final.

Now they are showing a recap of what happened in the beginning of the show with Cena, Swagger, Barrett and Jericho. Backstage, Matthews is now with Cena. He asked if he found a partner yet. Cena says that they haven’t and that Khali is more than enough to make it a three on three and that tonight they will both be going to war. Khali then taps Matthews and does the ‘You Can’t See Me’ pose.

R-Truth vs. Cody Rhodes

No more than five minutes into the match, R-Truth suddenly begins to feel light-headed as he still feels the effect that went down with William Regal a few weeks ago. The ref stops the match as they announce it a No Contest. Rhodes looks around to see if there were any fans trying to jump in after him like last week, then slowly walks away to the back.

Vicki then announces that R-Truth will be out of action until SummerSlam so we ‘The Raw Fans’, can get what we want out of a match.

Round Two of the Women’s Title: Natalia vs. Tiffany

As both ladies entered the ring, out comes Beth Phoenix to come sit right by Michael Cole and The King to analyze the match. Then Melina’s music hits as she comes out and sits right next to them as well to analyze. Natalia looks distracted as Tiffany took the advantage and started beating down on her. After getting her way with her, Natalia finally took it to her with some wrestling moves of her own. In the end, Natalia applied the Sharpshooter on Tiffany to make her tap out. Natalia advances to the finals. Beth then cheap shots Melina and throws her into the ring where Tiffany was still there. They began to double team her when Natalia runs back in to save her. Melina and Natalia finally made the heels run to the back as they both celebrated, but then looked at each other knowing that they might meet in the finals should Melina win.

Cena is in the back asking of Khali was ready for their match next. Khali then surprises Cena with a ‘Cena-nation’ shirt and cap signaling to come on.

Main Event: John Cena and The Great Khali vs. Wade Barrett, Jack Swagger and Chris Jericho

As the three heels enter the ring, Cena’s music hits. Cena then stops in front of the ring to wait for Khali. They both stood out the ring, confusing the heels even more. Cena and Khali turn around to find that they’ve found their partner for the night……Randy Orton. Orton comes out and the six began to brawl all around the ring. The numbers are even now. As the crowd got excited during the entire match, the ending saw Jericho at the tail-end of the RKO. 1…2…3. Your winners are Khali, Cena and Orton. Barrett tries to come in the ring, but gets a big chop from Khali. Swagger tries to come in but decides to just walk away. Sheamus agrees and then talks about his match against The Big Show tonight. He says that he doesn’t care how big he is or how powerful. He boost about how much more faster and younger he is and says that after tonight, he will punch his ticket to SummerSlam for the finals. Edge then reminds him that if he and Sheamus win tonight that it would be the two of them, one on one at SummerSlam. They both give each other a long stare. Sheamus then laughs and walks away. Edge then grabs him and tells him what was so funny. Sheamus then tells him that if he knew what was best for him was to take his hands off of him. Then he walks away to the back, leaving Edge upset in the ring.

Round One of the Cruiserweight Title: Justin Gabriel vs. Yoshi Tatsu

Back at Vicki’s General Manager’s office, we see that she had called Cena in there. As he came in, she told him that the rules on Raw are going to be different and that he has to play by her games. He said that as long as she or anyone else gets in his way on his quest for the title that he has no problems playing by her rules.

Main Event and Round One of the World Title: John Cena vs. Chris Jericho

Back from the break, it is now time for the main event. It’s a first round match for the World Title between John Cena and Chris Jericho. As they both are in the ring, the bell sounds as Jericho gets in his face talking trash. The exchange blows. The match seesaws during the minutes of the fight with one putting on a submission move on the other. After an exciting 20 minutes, Cena finally applies the STU submission on Jericho, as he was about to tap out, Swagger runs into the ring and immediately pulls the ref out of the ring. The ref then asked what he was doing and Swagger tells him that he was helping out Cena. With that said, the ref signaled the bellkeeper to ring the bell and stop the match. The winner of the bout as a result of a disqualification….Chris Jericho. So Jericho heads to the finals to face Randy Orton. A fumed Cena then chases Swagger all the way to the back and out the building as Swagger jumps in his limo and drove off. Back in the ring, Jericho was still celebrating his unexpected win when all of the sudden out of the crowd came Orton. He turned Jericho around and gave him a RKO, much to the fans delight.
